Greetings and Hallucinations

"An East Wind"

I know, right? I seem like I'm all literary and smart. If you didn't know better, you would think I'm working the bookstore circuit with DaKOG.

When I was younger someone gave me the complete Sherlock Holmes collection, a giant book with all the Holmes stories ever written. I have read it several times now, and this quote has always stood out to me as an excellent one.

It seemed particularly appropriate, as in our marriage and lives there has been a change from who we are to what we have become. Not that we aren't constantly looking at moving our lives forward, but the affair and what we have been through are not the main focuses of our lives anymore.

So, welcome to "An East Wind." Therese told me to pick something funny, but none of the funny names I tried were available, so now we are stuck.

She has become a blogger guru, and is in the process of moving my posts and information over. In a short time we will be shutting down the old blog. I hope you all continue to come along for the ride!

Nice new place you have here, obviously you've been listening to Therese on matters of decor and fonts :)

Updated my link list, so I'll be able to keep on reading.

Does this make me Watson, or am I the East Wind?

Being ever so overanalytic, the reference to "an east wind" made me wonder, "If Zeyphyr is the name ascribed to the west wind, what is the counterpart of the east?" I thought that this might be a good nomme de blog.

I journeyed to the large mount where that ever relevant oracle named Google resides, and lo and behold, she spoke unto me that the east wind is Eurus. I promptly decided that "east wind" definitely sounds better. :-)

I just want you to know that I don't deal well with change.

Harumph.

In order for you to go on the bookstore circuit with me, you must color your hair red and buy various V-neck shirts in a variety of colors. Practice smiling. If you don't think you're up to this challenge, I guess I'll understand. It won't be easy, but I must admit, it's tough being cool like me.

Sailor - I leave the whole "making the blog look good" thing to her. She is my interior decorator.
Why did that sound dirty?

TiH - so many innuendos, so little time...

2am - thanks for the quantitive analysis of my blog name. Now that it has been fully endorsed, I can begin new posts! :)

FTN - neither do I, but change had to come! I guess you can be Watson.

DaKOG -
hair colored red: check.
V-Neck shirts showing off my KAR: check.
Smiling: Always. And usually singing as well.

cw - thanks! We continue to improve and grow, which shows there is hope for EVERYONE!

Des - you like the icon? I do too. Therese also did that up for me. I told all of you I play paintball, but no one believed me. All kudos on the site go to Therese.
